About the Roundtable

As the UN’s global development network, UNDP links people in developing countries to the knowledge, experiences and resources they need to build better lives. Toward this end, UNDP has established partnerships with NGOs, governments and fellow inter-governmental bodies across the world.

The mission of UNDP’s Washington Liaison Office is to strengthen our ties with our many partner organizations in the United States.  As part of this effort, the Liaison Office has regularly convened since 2003 a policy forum called the UNDP Washington Roundtable.

The Roundtable brings together representatives of the U.S. Government, U.S. NGOs and inter-governmental organizations to discuss development issues at the top of the current international agenda. In so doing, UNDP aims to make its U.S. partners a vital component of our world-wide network of development professionals.
